Founder, Gurusthan Meditation · Visionary of Anapanasati for the modern world
About the
Founder
Nagendram Peram, the founder of the Vasudhaika Foundation,
has been deeply immersed in the practice of meditation for many years. His
journey with Awareness of Breath (Anapanasati) is rooted not in theory, but in
direct experience and inner transformation.
Through consistent and sincere practice of Anapanasati, he
experienced profound changes in his life. Over time, he developed such deep
trust in this meditation that he was able to overcome health challenges,
gradually reducing dependence on medicines under inner confidence and balance.
Meditation helped him dissolve many inner insecurities, bringing clarity,
emotional freedom, and a joyful approach to life.
Living without unnecessary mental boundaries, he began to
experience life with openness, ease, and gratitude. There were periods when he
practiced meditation for many hours a day, allowing awareness to deepen
naturally. Through this inner discipline, his physical and mental well-being
improved, strengthening his faith in the power of breath awareness.
With a desire to share this transformation with others, he
founded Gurusthan—a sacred space where people are encouraged to meditate freely
and joyfully. At Gurusthan, meditation sessions, spiritual teachings, and
guidance are offered with love, along with free food served as GuruPrasadam,
nurturing both body and mind.
Through spiritual classes, personal guidance, and lived
example, Nagendram Peram continues to inspire many people to walk the path of
meditation with simplicity and happiness. His life stands as a reminder that
when awareness becomes steady, life itself becomes peaceful, joyful, and
meaningful.
